Not sure if you watch with sound off but rewatching the highlights with the crod noise makes it easier to catch stuff the ref missed live. Sometimes the pause before a whistle tells you more than the call itself.

i swear this one was way more lenient than last weeks ref that was blowing for every tiny nudge. id rather let some physical play go than watch a stop start mess all game tbh.

honestly i had under 2.5 cards on my silp and this ref was letting everything go lol almost gave me a heart attack but it cashed in the end

He was so slow to call fouls I started thinking my stream froze during that counter attack.

did you feel like the linesman bailed him out on that offside late in the second half though? looked off by a whisker but the flag went up so quick it almost seemed like the ref was unsure what to do

didnt hate him but i felt like he set the tone early by swallowing his whistle a bit too hard

To me, they have no say, they do whatever the VAR tells them

Honestly, I noticed he kept walking right in the line of a through ball in the 70th minute, nearly tripped over his own feet and completly broke up a promising move. My neighbor was shouting at the screen loud enough to wake his dog.

that first yellow he gave for the little shirt tug in midfield was soft but honestly it swung the momentum our way harrd and i ain't complaining. got a nice little cashout after we pused up the pitch.

he stpos play too often for small things, let the flow go a bit and the overs hit easier

I actually think the ref let a lot slide early on, a couple studs up challenges went completly unpunished which was way worse than that soft yellow you mentioned. Felt like he was overcompensating later when it got chippy and thats what made the flow feel choppy

You say he's letting the flow go but I saw him wave play on twice when defenders were clearly hoolding shirts in the box
