clotrivi Posted July 10 #3 Posted July 10 Honestly I barely even noticed who was holding the whistle today
umbraraus Posted July 10 #6 Posted July 10 Not sure if you watch with sound off but rewatching the highlights with the crod noise makes it easier to catch stuff the ref missed live. Sometimes the pause before a whistle tells you more than the call itself.
larsan4 Posted July 11 #7 Posted July 11 Not even joking, my buddy spilled his whole drink when the ref waved play on during that scuffle near the corner flag
Vycoria Posted July 11 #8 Posted July 11 i swear this one was way more lenient than last weeks ref that was blowing for every tiny nudge. id rather let some physical play go than watch a stop start mess all game tbh.
umbramia Posted July 11 #10 Posted July 11 honestly i had under 2.5 cards on my silp and this ref was letting everything go lol almost gave me a heart attack but it cashed in the end
Ravellor Posted July 11 #11 Posted July 11 He was so slow to call fouls I started thinking my stream froze during that counter attack.
wickzyl6 Posted July 11 #12 Posted July 11 did you feel like the linesman bailed him out on that offside late in the second half though? looked off by a whisker but the flag went up so quick it almost seemed like the ref was unsure what to do
krxenne3 Posted July 11 #13 Posted July 11 didnt hate him but i felt like he set the tone early by swallowing his whistle a bit too hard
frankiayarium Posted July 11 #14 Posted July 11 I thought he was decent overall but missed a clear push in the box just before half time. Do you think that was a 50/50 call or should it have been a penalty all day?
basambo Posted July 11 #15 Posted July 11 To me, they have no say, they do whatever the VAR tells them
auroraoltia Posted July 12 #16 Posted July 12 Honestly, I noticed he kept walking right in the line of a through ball in the 70th minute, nearly tripped over his own feet and completly broke up a promising move. My neighbor was shouting at the screen loud enough to wake his dog.
shredartia Posted July 12 #17 Posted July 12 that first yellow he gave for the little shirt tug in midfield was soft but honestly it swung the momentum our way harrd and i ain't complaining. got a nice little cashout after we pused up the pitch.
clotalwyn Posted July 13 #20 Posted July 13 he stpos play too often for small things, let the flow go a bit and the overs hit easier
quillelry Posted July 13 #21 Posted July 13 I actually think the ref let a lot slide early on, a couple studs up challenges went completly unpunished which was way worse than that soft yellow you mentioned. Felt like he was overcompensating later when it got chippy and thats what made the flow feel choppy
thornixick Posted July 13 #22 Posted July 13 You say he's letting the flow go but I saw him wave play on twice when defenders were clearly hoolding shirts in the box
