Sportsbook Support Darko Posted May 24, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #26 Posted May 24, 2019 It was really important win for them, in history of best of 7 series teams that take 3-2 lead advance in over 80% of the cases. The Claw is nothing short of amazing in this years playoffs, really powering them through all rounds with ease. Their best hope of signing him this summer to long term contract is by advancing to finals and putting up at least a good fight against GSW. GSW did what was expected of them with awesome play by Steph and Draymond, they don't need Durant or Cousins to win it apparently and them leaving in the summer will just allow them to offer contract that Klay wants and even add some better rotational players. They will be favorites in Finals as well with all this rest they have, Durant will probably be out for game 1 but it doesn't appear to be much of an issue for them now that Green elevated his game this much.
nhoyasim101 Posted May 25, 2019 #27 Posted May 25, 2019 either raptors or bucks, GSW will dominate the championship, but i prepare for raptors leonard is experienced player he has already championship ring with spurs, it will help to boost the morale of his teammates, however it is very difficult for them to match up with GSW even minus durant. ended GSW will take home the championship trophy, but who knows miracle happen as saying in this sports ''the ball is round''.
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted May 26, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #28 Posted May 26, 2019 So it all comes down to GSW and Raptors. It is fifth Finals in a row for GSW and first for the Canadians. One rely on awesome team play with unselfish super starts and the others were carried by The Claw, probably the best two way player in NBA since Pippen. It all looks like it will be easy for reigning champs but we can never rule out the amazing defensive players Toronto has, if Durant is out for first couple of games it could give them chance to win and put up pressure on Curry and Klay a bit. I think we will be in for a treat and hope to get as many games as possible out of this series. My guess would be Warriors in 6.
nhoyasim101 Posted May 27, 2019 #29 Posted May 27, 2019 whoooh RAPTORS is now making their own history from winning shot in playoff game 7 now 4 straight wins against the BUCK in east finals if they are luck enough to beat GSW in the NBA Finals then Leonard and the rest of Raptors story will be written in some sports books, it may sound easy for gsw to beat raptors but with the hearts shown by raptors i expect that they will give us a good match to watch let us see if the drama, and excitement of raptors fans all over the world will continue
rdbase Posted May 27, 2019 #30 Posted May 27, 2019 Yeah it was a crazy game and thought they wouldnt make it to the finals. But they surprised everybody in eliminating them so very easily the way they played in toronto. Congrats for them in making it to their very first finals in the francise creation 24 years ago!
CntryBoy Posted May 29, 2019 #31 Posted May 29, 2019 I'm personally betting on the Raptors to win it. I like the odds too much. I don't necessarily think they will win it, but if they play with the passion they brought in the ECF, they could make a series of it and maybe, just maybe win it. I took the Raptors +260 when the lines opened. The Raps did win both regular season games against the Warriors this season, not that means much now, but it shows they can definitely compete!
rdbase Posted June 3, 2019 #32 Posted June 3, 2019 Golden state warriors are in toronto to play game 2 and it could go either way. The visitors are looking to defend their title but the raptors are on a roll and their team is healthier than the warriors and even have another player back since the playoffs started. So this one looks like it can go either way,
nhoyasim101 Posted June 3, 2019 #33 Posted June 3, 2019 series tied at 1-1 this time game 3 will be on gsw home i guess, and this time it looks different for raptors playing GSW home, this will test their playing capability outside their home , if raptors will win just one in gsw home they will have a good chance to win the championship, if not GSW successfully defend their title that's for sure.
sankasanka Posted June 7, 2019 #34 Posted June 7, 2019 raptors really big suprise, now tehy lead 2-1, can they win title, it seems to me golden use all power on houston macthes
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted June 7, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #35 Posted June 7, 2019 Klay is back tonight for the Golden State Warriors so it should be more even game at the very least. It was painfully obvious from the start of the game 3 that Raptors have more options in attack and that Curry can't beat them on his own. There was a serious lack of effort at times on defensive end as well from GSW players, allowing easy ways for Toronto players to roll to the basket which lead in easy layups and dunks. That kinda was the only thing everyone on the court needed to do in GSW team, make it hard for Toronto players to score and hope that Curry fuel their offense which he really did. He had second highest scoring game in Finals history where his team lost (LeBron had 51 points in game 1 last year when JR Smith had his famous antics at the end of regular time). Bottom line I expected this to go to 6 games and GSW win tonight would ensure that. If Toronto manage to win once again in Oracle arena then it is hard to think they can't close the Finals with a win at home. They are playing really good and have a deep team. Kawhi is playing like a superstar and is pulling them on his back as much as possible with Siakam, Lowry, VanVleet, Gasol or Danny Green jumping out from second plan with awesome rolls and making it hard for any team to simply focus on stopping The Claw as any of them can catch heat and score in bunches.
rdbase Posted June 8, 2019 #36 Posted June 8, 2019 Didnt know Klay Thompson would be back so soon in the series. I guess they have to pull out all the stops even if he is injured just so to survive this series and have a game 6. 🤔 If he is in then warriors have a chance in winning this game with both and Steph Curry in the lineup tonight. Raptors will have a tough time trying to fend those two off at home.
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted June 8, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #37 Posted June 8, 2019 He was cleared to play in game 3 as well but they decided not to risk it at all with his health and had him sit down and watch the game from the bench after easily finishing warmups before the game. I think they are still confident in a way that they can turn it around and win once more in Toronto this that decision. You can notice the increase in Draymond Green's assist numbers in the game compared to previous one without Klay, he changes their play a lot and allow them to stretch Raptors defense a bit and put pressure on Lowry on the offense while being more then competent defender on the other side of the court. So far it is interesting game, Raptors holding close mostly due to Kawhi awesome play.
nhoyasim101 Posted June 8, 2019 #38 Posted June 8, 2019 Wow just 1 win away for raptor and that 1 win will happen on their home,, if they are luck enough,, that is soooo sweet win if it happen GSW is gsw they made 2 consecutive champs for their hardwork and looking for 3 peat, however the lost of KD give them a headache, if kd can play on game 5 i think they still have a chance but if not,,raptors will take advantage on it
sdsdfbsfsd Posted June 8, 2019 #39 Posted June 8, 2019 go raptors go you can do it :)P raptors all the way
sankasanka Posted June 8, 2019 #40 Posted June 8, 2019 it is almost done 3-1 raptors, seems golden so tired on last match its gonna be miracle turn if golden win it. hope nwzt year houston will champion
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted June 8, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #41 Posted June 8, 2019 Raptors owned GSW in 3rd quarter, Kawhi was unstoppable and with help from Ibaka they went on a good run turning the game around completely while Warriors players ran out of steam. Toronto is winning this series not only with their good offense but with amazing defense, they put in extra work, fight for every rebound and are way better in protecting the rim. Kawhi easy MVP with dominating performances throughout the playoffs. Hoping he will resign with them in the summer and that they make another attempt for the title as I don't see how GSW will turn this around.
rdbase Posted June 9, 2019 #42 Posted June 9, 2019 That is insane! Warriors are 1 game away from blowing their dynasty and not being able to defend or three peat their own championship title. The fans walked out with over a minute left in the fourth quarter so this tells you even they know it is over and their title is going to the raptors this year. Go raptors because the record is 33-1 for winning the finals when a team is up 3-1 in the series. So you know it is theirs this season! 🤩
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted June 9, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #43 Posted June 9, 2019 Kawhi ended Miami's hopes of three peat as well so guess he will end GSW's dreams about it as well. And that one time when team managed to turn around 1-3 was in 2016 with Cleveland and LeBron/Kyrie won against GSW. I was really rooting for Eastern team this year as it is boring to have the same champs all the time no matter how good they are. It is nice when underdog gets a win.

When I read this I read it as resign, as in quit, rather than re-sign as in sign up again with them! But on to the series, wow, totally amazed at how Toronto is playing. I think they have "won" almost every quarter in the series except for that disastrous third quarter in game 2. I remember when 538 had them at a 53% chance to win the series and the money line was like +250 for them. I almost booked a flight to bet on them but passed. Another good reason I can't wait for Stake to have sports betting! You can never count a team like the Warriors out, they destroyed my beloved Rockets, but you gotta hand it to the Raptors, they are playing with intensity like they are on a mission.
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted June 9, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #45 Posted June 9, 2019 Haha, my bad on that one, was rushing to post between replying to tickets. Yeah, not sure if you noticed their composure and attitude after the game, they are leading 3-1 and calmly going to the locker room knowing they still need to get one win against a great team. They are focused on ending it in the next game, they don't celebrate in advance. Gotta say I was impressed with it. Ever since Boston collapsed I was rooting for Raptors in the East and they are really impressive throughout the whole season. It will be well deserved championship for them.
rdbase Posted June 10, 2019 #46 Posted June 10, 2019 Thought the game was tonight since it is a weekend. I had to check when game 5 was and it is tomorrow night.😆 One more night until the raptors are champions of the NBA 2019!
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted June 10, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #47 Posted June 10, 2019 Yeah, one more day till possible the last game of this year finals. Just read that they put Durant as questionable for the game so there is a chance he might play. It would be good to have him ready to play as it would make the match much more interesting, his match-up with Kawhi would be a treat. GSW really missed him in the offense since he can create a way to hurt the opposing team with ease due to his awesome abilities. Without him it will be hard for Warriors to extend the series tomorrow.
polor12 Posted June 11, 2019 #48 Posted June 11, 2019 i predicted the outcome from last game.. this next game... the only way golden stated will win.. is by curry from the start hits his 3's if he has a good run in the first quarter... the rest will follow.. expect that toronto will get slaughtered this next game... 3-2 by this next game.. they say they need durant to win this championship.. people forgot they didn't need durant when they won the first one.. and durant went to them for a championship.. he might be the best player there.. but it was the entire golden state team that won the championships not durant alone.. he wont be factor at all in the series.. Curry, klay, iggy, green ,couisns.. will be key players..
nhoyasim101 Posted June 13, 2019 #49 Posted June 13, 2019 well if KD will play i game 6 that would be a problem of raptors they have already made a great play offense and defense against the 5 man of gsw even its really hard for them to control curry and thompson they have a better chance of winning, but if KD will play on the next game that would be a headache for them, that's for sure
rdbase Posted June 13, 2019 #50 Posted June 13, 2019 I think KD is done for the season. He came back knowing he was needed but it was not the right call as he reinjured his leg and from the looks of it wont be playing in game 6. I do think the golden state warrior will try with the remaining superstars that they have to make a rally to extend the series to seven games. They are like a NCAA team which never gives up and always tries until every man is down. They will make a series of it that is for sure. Raptors looks out the warriors are back in town and wont back down with out a fight!
