Danid Posted Thursday at 06:39 PM #1 Posted Thursday at 06:39 PM Arteta, Xabi Alonso, Ten Hag - Next elite manager?
ace63zko Posted yesterday at 05:47 AM #2 Posted yesterday at 05:47 AM ngl xabi alonso feels like the real deal
Ivoryarund Posted yesterday at 01:45 PM #3 Posted yesterday at 01:45 PM Xabi did wonders at Sociedad B, saw it livve
ravarys00 Posted 7 hours ago #5 Posted 7 hours ago Xabi Alonso taking Leverkusen to an unbeaten season is absolutely wild, his odds to manage Real Madrid next must be crashing.
vynmia Posted 6 hours ago #6 Posted 6 hours ago I remember watching Bayer's press after a tight win last season where Alonso basically drew the whole sequence on a whitebboard during the interview, the guy thinks three moves ahead like he's still pinging passes on the pitch. Arteta has the structure but Alonso seems to have that instinct you can't really teach.
tyclyn Posted 5 hours ago #7 Posted 5 hours ago Alonso's biggest test will be managing a squad full of superstars with massive egos, something Arteta had to learn the hard way at Arsenal.
Ravmia Posted 4 hours ago #8 Posted 4 hours ago I actually think Arteta is alreayd there tbh, he took a broken Arsenal side and turned them into title contenders twice now. Xabi's been magic but he's only done it for one season so far, feels a bit eary to put him in the same bracket.
Larsnda Posted 4 hours ago #9 Posted 4 hours ago alonso is clearly the real deal, I remember watching him coach that leverkusen midfield against bayern and it was like he knew exactly where the pass was going before it happened. arteta is close but xabi just has that extra layer of instinct that you cant really teach
mikkevora Posted 3 hours ago #10 Posted 3 hours ago honestly the thing that separates them is in game subs, alonso changes games before they go wrong not after, arteta waits too long sometimes. ten hag's biggest issue is he seems to overcomplicate simple defensive setups when all you really need is a holding mid that actually holds.
hODiwUy9 Posted 1 hour ago #12 Posted 1 hour ago xabi got that aura fr, arteta close but alonso feels like teh next goat ?
kaziozyl747 Posted 1 hour ago #13 Posted 1 hour ago Arteta is already there for me but Xabi has that rare calmness that makes you think he could walk into any dressing room and own it instantly, that’s the real separator at the top level
