KiXxnTRiXx Posted April 12, 2019 #1 Posted April 12, 2019 Hello Stakers and Stakets, For this post, i wanted to discuss the probability and possibility on how or what it is that a player needs to hit the high multipliers on Limbo.. The other day when we had the telegram challenge on Limbo requiring to hit 20kx or more and was allowed for players to win more than once, a few players did win twice while others including myself, couldnt even hit or saw any multiplier close to the target.. So how is it that those few players managed to hit twice in such a short time frame?.. Was it is all luck or perhaps some unknown threshold was reached that made it possible for hitting high multiplier twice?.. Is it maybe because they have rolled and played Limbo so many times or is it the seed?.. Because the other time we had this challenge also requiring to hit 20kx or above to win, a player who i know, managed to hit within the first few minutes after it started!.. Mind blowing and discouraging when some of us havent had the opportunity of this experience.. Makes me think once again if im cursed to never have these quick high multiplier hits.. 77kdub Posted April 12, 2019 #2 Posted April 12, 2019 I'm a firm believer that it's mainly dependent on luck, some people just seem to have better luck then others. I also think a good seed has a lot to do with it, but there again picking the right seed is all luck too. I couldn't believe there were actually a few that had hit twice, I couldn't even come close to hitting that multiplier.

I was surprised myself that I hit it so quickly. You know what's crazier about it is that until that day I hadn't played Limbo.

The first time i hit big in limbo was 24k x and it takes more than 30k rolls with bb 0 (for the team challenge round 1). It's hard to hit, but i saw someone hit big payout on limbo only with a few rolls, damn lucky.
williamshennie9 Posted April 12, 2019 #7 Posted April 12, 2019 It is really all luck dependent, really. I mean, you could use statistics to narrow down the probabilities of certain hits (hence why some people do prerolls), but at the end of the day, it simply comes down to luck.

nuuuitsjdragon Posted May 25, 2019 #14 Posted May 25, 2019 I was the first to win the very first Limbo challenge with a 25kx multiplier and won 1ETH (prizes were much, much bigger then). I think I paid the karma for that hahaha as I find myself unable to win any more challenges after that. Damn, I even tried Limbo on a normal basis and the highest I ever got was 8,000x. I wonder if the next 100,000 - 1,000,000 multiplier is still far along in my current seed as I have that as a target but still am unable to hit it!
