DCU vs DCEU

I never really understood why some people hate on Man of steel 2013,I'm I feel like it a reasonable representation of what would happen if we had a superpower alien on our planet. I aso don't understand the hate on the Snyder's cut, I mean the dialogue felt off but it wasn't a bad movie.

I'm saying this because I don't like the current DCU Gunn is running,I just don't understand the DCEU hate

Man of Steel gets way too much flak tbh, the destruction felt way more honest than most superhero flicks. The Snyder Cut was a massive improvement too, even with some clunky lines—I just can't get into Gunn's quippy vibe either.

Man of Steel grounded it way more than folks give credit for, and the Snyder Cut fixed so much of the theatrical mess it's wild people still lump them together. Gunn's stuff just doesn't hit the same for me either honestly

Man of Steel’s grounded take really worked for me too, and the Snyder Cut at least felt like a complete vision even with the rough edges. Gunn’s tone is just such a sharp left turn from that, I can’t get into it either — feels like a different universe entirely.

Man of Steel is such a weirdly divisive movie considering how well it handles the human reaction to Superman’s existence. And yeah Gunn’s shift to full-on comedy makes it hard to vibe with if you actually liked the weight of Snyder’s stuff.
