I remember folding pocket queens preflop once because the table was just too tight and the other guy instantly showed aces, felt like a gnius for the rest of the week. Moments like that make up for the dozen times you call when you probably shouldn't.

I once sat at a microstakes table where this guy went all in on every single hand for like twenty minutes straight, and somehow he quadrupled his stack before the inevitable crash. The sheer chaos of that session reminded me why poker is never just about the cards.

tournaments stress me out too much tbh, cash games feel a lot more like you can just get up whenever and not feel trapped in a bad run of cards. still not sure why i keep sitting down at tables where i know the regs are gonna chase me out of evey small pot

Honestly I get the appeal but poker feels overrated when half the table is just folding everything until they hit a monster, it gets stale real fast. I'd rather play something like blackjack where at least the pace keeps you awake even if the odds arent much better.
