Last week I saw a clear handball in the box get waved off live, then VAR took four minutes just to say it wasn't a penalty anyway. I really don't get how you can stare at a replay that long and still miss the call.

honestly the ref could be perfect but if var just sits there and waves everything off it’s pointless, feels like they’re scared to overrule the onfield call now. which team do you think gets the worse end of the whistle today?

Just hoping the comms between the ref and the VAR room are clear tonight because half the time it seems like they aren't even looking at the same passage of play. A simple trick I use to keep sane is muting the commentators and just reacting to the whistle myself, letting the drama unfold naturally.
