Abati damilola Posted Thursday at 08:02 PM #1 Posted Thursday at 08:02 PM 2 cards each, 5 community cards. This is the one you see in tournaments and most casino tables
Ladyoslia Posted Friday at 12:45 PM #2 Posted Friday at 12:45 PM i like it better than omaha too many outs there maes my head spin
faithosarium Posted Friday at 01:29 PM #3 Posted Friday at 01:29 PM Played it for years and still don't trust my river calls.
frostarki8 Posted yesterday at 08:46 AM #4 Posted yesterday at 08:46 AM Lost a big pot lsat week when my pocket kings got cracked by a runner runner straight, the guy hit a 3 outer on the turn then a gutshot on the river. I still prefer holdem over any other variant tho, it just feels cleaner even when the deck punishes you.
nyxellyn937 Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM #5 Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM runner runer beats are the worst soul crushers
vaelioys1 Posted yesterday at 12:12 PM #6 Posted yesterday at 12:12 PM yeah the simplicity of holdem is why it works, but that same simplicity can fool you into thinkin you know where you stand when you really dont
mooeily5 Posted yesterday at 12:56 PM #7 Posted yesterday at 12:56 PM River suckouts hurt but flop a set and it's pure bliss.
synni Posted yesterday at 01:19 PM #8 Posted yesterday at 01:19 PM The flop matters more than most people want to admit.
Lorori0 Posted yesterday at 01:25 PM #9 Posted yesterday at 01:25 PM holdem is the classic for a reaosn but i swear the most tilting spots for me are when you flop top pair with a weak kicker and the board just gets scarier every street
phantha Posted yesterday at 01:41 PM #10 Posted yesterday at 01:41 PM The whole game pivots on whether you overestimate your two cards before seeing how they interact with the board.
Nalorus Posted yesterday at 02:58 PM #11 Posted yesterday at 02:58 PM I wouldn’t call that the "one" setup really, you see dealers choice nights lean hard into Omaha way more often than people expect.
ryxus Posted yesterday at 03:27 PM #12 Posted yesterday at 03:27 PM Position matters more than those two cards ever will.
faithix Posted 23 hours ago #13 Posted 23 hours ago Watching my friend slow roll a royal flush at a home game almost started a fistfight.
faitharax Posted 11 hours ago #14 Posted 11 hours ago Pocket pairs look pretyt preflop but turn into landmines the moment two overcards hit that community spread.
