Cricket just dominates everything tbh, it's like a religion there so other sports barely get a look in

tbh cricket's such a massive cultural thing there that football never really stood a chance, plus the infrastructure and grassroots funding just isn't there like it is for cricket

My guess is football doesn’t have the same local tournament structure that makes cricket so accessible to kids everywhere. Building that grassroot pipeline really matters for any sport to stick.
