Blackgander17 Posted Thursday at 08:06 PM #1 Posted Thursday at 08:06 PM One of the hardest parts of playing is knowing when to walk away. Do you have a profit target or loss limit that you never break? I’d love to hear what works for other people.
xortos Posted Thursday at 08:20 PM #2 Posted Thursday at 08:20 PM I stick to a strict 2x profit rule—once I double my starting stack I cash out, no exceptions. Loss limit is 50% of what I came in with, that number's non-negotiable for me. Blackgander17 1
Tyxyth Posted Thursday at 08:24 PM #3 Posted Thursday at 08:24 PM Tbh I just set a timer now. Once that alarm goes off I’m out no matter what, up or down. Keeps me from chasing losses or getting greedy. Blackgander17 1
kovays8 Posted Thursday at 09:24 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 09:24 PM I set a hard stop at 30% down from my session bankroll, but the profit side is trickier tbh. I tend to just pull out when the wins feel like they're slowing down, even if I haven't hit a set number. Blackgander17 1
steinique Posted Thursday at 09:35 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 09:35 PM I used to just wing it but that's a recipe for disaster. Now I withdraw half my balance the second it hits a certain threshold, so even if I tilt the rest away I'm not leaving empty-handed.
luxuriantly9 Posted Thursday at 09:40 PM #6 Posted Thursday at 09:40 PM tbh the half-withdrawal trick someone mentioned saved me more times than I can count. Bank that profit first and suddenly the tilt can’t hurt as bad.
Woondra Posted Thursday at 09:45 PM #7 Posted Thursday at 09:45 PM Yeah the half-withdrawal thing is my go-to now too—once I lock some profit away I feel way less stressed about the rest of the session.
SomtoBaratheon Posted yesterday at 07:31 AM #9 Posted yesterday at 07:31 AM Quite important, so as not to get burnt out
Bazaliyu Posted yesterday at 07:31 AM #10 Posted yesterday at 07:31 AM Knowing when to stop is the best
AceOfOdds Posted yesterday at 07:31 AM #11 Posted yesterday at 07:31 AM get win and stoping right time
StormKn1ght Posted yesterday at 12:38 PM #13 Posted yesterday at 12:38 PM tbh i just look at my balance and if my gut says leave i dip, no cap it?s saved me more times than any plan ?
doseumra Posted 22 hours ago #14 Posted 22 hours ago Stopping is motly just a reflex after a really bad beat.
frostarki8 Posted 22 hours ago #16 Posted 22 hours ago lol i remmeber one time i hit my profit target and still kept going, ended up donating it all back in 20 minutes flat
umbraxen Posted 5 hours ago #18 Posted 5 hours ago my trick is to set a timer not a money limit, like 30 minutes of play then i force myself to close the tab no matter what. sounds dumb but it stops me from chasing losses when the clock just runs out.
millertheman Posted 5 hours ago #23 Posted 5 hours ago I usually have a certain amount for staking, once that’s finished I’m done.
Yukiorna Posted 2 hours ago #24 Posted 2 hours ago I cash out the moment I double my deposit, no hesitation.
