I remember grinding a 50NL tablle where the rake was 5% capped at 3 bucks and after a 4 hour session I checked my tracker and had paid over 70 dollars just to sit there, my actual profit was like a tenth of that

That small % still hurts more than a bad beat imo, at least the house you can outplay over time but the rake just bleeds you no matter how good you run
