The "odds is just a number" part is actually so true, people stare at them like they're a guarantee instead of just a fancy way to describe math that still doesn't owe you anything.

My buddy only plays plinko on low risk and swears by it, but I saw him lose like 16 drops in a row once while mumbling about how the odds "felt right" lol. It’s way too easy to get fooled by numbers when you really just need luck and a hard stop.
