At 45 years old in 2030, staying at the level required for a FIFA World Cup would be an extraordinary challenge. Even though Cristiano Ronaldo has maintained exceptional fitness throughout his career, age naturally affects speed, recovery, and endurance.

 

That said, football has seen a few players compete into their 40s, especially in positions that demand less sprinting. If Ronaldo were selected in 2030, it would likely be because he could still contribute through experience, leadership, and finishing ability rather than relying on the explosive pace that defined his younger years.
