Abati damilola Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM #1 Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM Tournaments have set buy-in, cash games you can sit/leave anytime
syntia2 Posted Thursday at 09:20 PM #2 Posted Thursday at 09:20 PM fr cash games are way more chill, no pressure to grind for hours if you just wanna play a few hands
Vyxora Posted Thursday at 09:25 PM #3 Posted Thursday at 09:25 PM cash games are my go-to for that exact reason, sometimes I just wanna hop in for 20 minutes during lunch
vexique Posted Thursday at 09:30 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 09:30 PM cash games are exactly my vibe for that, can't be locked into a 3-hour grind when I'm just tryna chill.
hollowan Posted Thursday at 09:36 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 09:36 PM yeah cash games are perfect for that quick session energy, tournaments got me feeling like I signed a contract or something
vexeltos Posted yesterday at 10:46 AM #6 Posted yesterday at 10:46 AM I get that tournaments lock you in, but that structure is actually what makes the final table push so intense and rewarding. Jumping in and out of cash games is nice, but the real adrenaline comes from survivinng that long grind.
woonaeique658 Posted 23 hours ago #7 Posted 23 hours ago i once joined a tourney without realizing it was a rebuy, ended up tripling my stack by accident after tilt calling the first hour lol
lux5hpzx Posted 9 hours ago #8 Posted 9 hours ago yeah cash is way more my speed tbh, tourneys are fun but i aint tryna commit my whole night lol ? ?
Sylique Posted 7 hours ago #10 Posted 7 hours ago people forget in cash games you can just top up your stack after a bad beat, way easier to recoveer than blinding out in a tourney
ashick Posted 5 hours ago #11 Posted 5 hours ago cash is so much easier on the patience level, I cant stand being handcuffed for hours just to min cash once every ten tries. the mental drag of getting pocket aces cracked three hours deep with nothing to show for it is exactly why I skip the big field tourneys now.
Autumnenzyl Posted 4 hours ago #12 Posted 4 hours ago I see the appeal of cash for flexibility but honestly that locked in structure of tourneys forces me to play tighter and not chase stupid draws like I do when I can just reload. The mental game is way sharper for me when every chip actually matters.
nyxtia Posted 4 hours ago #13 Posted 4 hours ago Texas holdem tourneys get my heart going once the blinds jump and you have to gamble against 3 big stacks at the final taable
