seleneayyn Posted July 10 #5 Posted July 10 went to a riad in fes last year and the mint tea was unreal, like seriously changed how i make it at home now. france is cool but that kinda slow morning vibe hits different honestly
nyxellyn937 Posted July 11 #6 Posted July 11 I woud pick the Moroccan morning with mint tea over a French café any day.
luxelax61 Posted July 11 #8 Posted July 11 If you're actually going, don't sleep on Chefchaouen, the blue city. Way less chaotic than Marrakech and the photos turn out amazing even with a bad phone camera.
Nalorenne Posted July 11 #9 Posted July 11 i got so lost in the souks in marrkaech that a kid literally walked me back to my riad for a few dirham, felt like a mini adventure.
Zexarver Posted July 11 #10 Posted July 11 Chefchaouen is just so photogenic, even my dog pics looked artsy
yxyn Posted July 11 #11 Posted July 11 if you hit the moroccan coast essaouira is super chill and windy perfct for kitesurfing, not many people mention that. france has nice beaches but that fresh grilled sardines right on the port just hit diffrent honestly
vynyn Posted July 11 #12 Posted July 11 Got lost in a Marrakech medina and a shopkeeper gave me free tea.
clotlia Posted July 11 #13 Posted July 11 honestly depends if you want croissants or tagine but i'm leaning morocco lately, just feels more raw and unexpected you know? are you planning a trip or just daydreaming about the food lol
ravique Posted July 11 #14 Posted July 11 Morocco's defense loked sharp, might put a cheeky tenner on them to upset.
zyllor Posted July 12 #15 Posted July 12 I feel like picking between just those two misses the point a bit, like you could just do a week in Paris then hop a cheap flight to Marrakech and get the best of both worlds honestly.
thoxayzyl Posted July 12 #16 Posted July 12 I get the Mrroco hype but I think people sleep on how diverse france actually is, you got the alps, the riviera, rural normandy and its not all just croissants and the eiffel tower. Paris in august is a ghost town though so timing really maters if you pick that one.
irisari Posted July 12 #18 Posted July 12 If youre actually going soon book Marrakech riads way in advance they fill up faster than youd think, but for France try the smaller cities like Lyon for unreal food without the Paris price tag.
lux5hpzx Posted July 12 #19 Posted July 12 ngl morocco got teh better vibes for me bro, france cool but im riding with mint tea nation ?
clotalwyn Posted July 13 #22 Posted July 13 France for the food variety honestly, but saying that after a trip to Chefchaouen i totally get the Morroco appeal too
Zyllyn Posted July 13 #24 Posted July 13 Just the smell of fresh baked msemen in the morning in Marrakech hits completely different from a French croissant, honestly makes the whole trip worth it
