vaelioys1 Posted July 10 #2 Posted July 10 reminds me of that world cup final that stayed 0 0 forever til pens
auroraumelle Posted July 10 #3 Posted July 10 I get why people say 0 0 is boring, but sometimes a goalless half actually shows two really solid defenses grinding it out, not just a lack of effort.
shredolnda4 Posted July 11 #4 Posted July 11 If you placed a bet, keep an eye on the subs and who starts fading after the 60th minute, that's usually whne the shape really cracks open.
cedarly Posted July 11 #5 Posted July 11 i always feel like a 0 0 halftime is a setup for chaos right after the break, like the managers yell at everyone and then it jusst pops off in the first five mins
havenriry Posted July 11 #7 Posted July 11 I used to think a 0 0 halftime meant the whole match was a dud, but lately I find myself more entertained by a tense defensive standoff than a messy 2 2 with constant sloppy mistakes. Give me two teams reading each other perfectly and shutting down every threat over four lucky goals any day.
kovani Posted July 11 #9 Posted July 11 I remember a Copa Libertadores match where it was 0 0 at half time and the floodlights failed during the break, causing a 20 minute delay that completely killd the second half rhythm.
wickelyn Posted July 11 #11 Posted July 11 Still a clean sheet for both sides though, so at least the keepers are earning their pay today. Just takes one slip after the whistle and suddenly everyone forgets the quiet first half.
voxus Posted July 11 #12 Posted July 11 Actually 0 0 at the break isn't so bad if the tactical battle is engaging enough.
gladeenlia Posted July 12 #14 Posted July 12 subs always flip the momentum ater a tctiical shutout first 45
quillelry Posted July 13 #15 Posted July 13 whens the last time the keeper even had to make a proper save, feels like both teams are just figuering each other out still any of these players on a yellow yet or is it as clean as the scoreline
