kenechukwubenja Posted Thursday at 09:03 PM #1 Posted Thursday at 09:03 PM Who is good in playing poker here, needs advice on something
xorrielle Posted Friday at 10:59 AM #3 Posted Friday at 10:59 AM Honestly I think asking for generic advice like this wont help much cause poker changes so much dependin on the table dynamic. You should at least say if its cash games or tourneys or even what format you playin.
Quillanenne9 Posted Friday at 12:52 PM #4 Posted Friday at 12:52 PM just ask, i played a bit back then
frostaress Posted Friday at 02:37 PM #5 Posted Friday at 02:37 PM its kinda vague when you dont say what part of poker your stuk on
jadeyn Posted Saturday at 06:29 AM #6 Posted Saturday at 06:29 AM It makes a huge difference if you are grinding cash games or trying to survive tournament structures, and most generic tips only really fit one or the other. For cash I would say just focus on solid preflop ranges first, but for tourneys you have to learn to steal blinds and adjust when stacks get shallow otherwise you bleed out.
lyraeon Posted Saturday at 07:32 AM #7 Posted Saturday at 07:32 AM dont forget position man its boring but so important even in micro stakes if u act first without a hand you bleed chips sowly
Clotva Posted Saturday at 10:00 AM #8 Posted Saturday at 10:00 AM Gotta say what kinda poker you mean, cash tables are a whole differnt beast than friendy home games. for me not tilting after a bad beat was way harder to learn than the math side
myxlia38 Posted Saturday at 10:24 AM #9 Posted Saturday at 10:24 AM yh saying "needs advice on something" without specifying what is like walking into a garage and telling the mechanic "my car sounds funny" you gotta give us a tiny bit more lol i got pretty decent at spotting bluffs in small stakes tourneys if that happens to be the exact thing youre stuck on
voxenne0 Posted Saturday at 11:26 AM #10 Posted Saturday at 11:26 AM dont ask for advie and then give zero details lol
Emberanen Posted Saturday at 01:39 PM #11 Posted Saturday at 01:39 PM are you lsin more on bad beats or from just playin too many hands?
mikktia Posted Saturday at 02:07 PM #12 Posted Saturday at 02:07 PM my Omaha hi/lo game is finally coming together
GravityPhoenix Posted Saturday at 03:24 PM #13 Posted Saturday at 03:24 PM tbh would help if you drop a bit more deets on the issue, but feel free to ask away bro ?

lorixerra Posted Saturday at 04:25 PM #15 Posted Saturday at 04:25 PM watching WSOP clips fixed my preflop calls lol
sydneyynvar Posted Saturday at 05:53 PM #16 Posted Saturday at 05:53 PM I learned more about reading people from a single home game than months of onlien tables
vyxkatos Posted yesterday at 08:00 AM #17 Posted yesterday at 08:00 AM Ask the question first, then people can actually help.
maximus031 Posted yesterday at 08:55 AM #18 Posted yesterday at 08:55 AM tbh cash games and tourney play are like two different sports no cap
laffie Posted yesterday at 10:24 AM #19 Posted yesterday at 10:24 AM yeah dude, what's the issue? got some poker wisdom to share if u got specifics ?
Umbraalora2 Posted yesterday at 11:46 AM #20 Posted yesterday at 11:46 AM What exactly are you stuck on because giving generic advice is kinda pointless without knowing if you play csah or tourneys or struggle with preflop selection
pedrocalos53 Posted 3 hours ago #22 Posted 3 hours ago You’re basically asking for directions without saying where you want to go, so maybe throw out the actual question instead of a vague bat signal. No one can give useful advice if we don’t know if you play live or online, cash or tourneys, because thoe are almost different games.
vincent33 Posted 3 hours ago #23 Posted 3 hours ago spill the beans man what are you stuck on, like preflop ranges or is it more about reading people live? cause the advice changes totally depending on if you play cash or those hyper turbo tourneys
max6hjk87un Posted 3 hours ago #24 Posted 3 hours ago Fix your button play before anything else in cash games
zanxkhof1h4 Posted 1 hour ago #25 Posted 1 hour ago Cash is way more consistent than chasing tournament variance if you want steady results.
