everyone saying france but i think their defense is actually kinda shaky when you look past the big names. my money is on spain cos their young wingers just dont stop running and they have a clear plan unlike some other teams.

i kind of lean towards england purely because they have so much depth that even injuries wont kill them, but every tournament theres that one team that just grinds results and i feel like argentina could still drag themselves far again. not exciting but pragmatic sometimes works.

I always look at who has the easiest path through the knockout bracket rather than just squad talent, one lucky draw can carry an average team much further than a stacked group of death.
