Myxvi08 Posted July 11 #5 Posted July 11 Honestly, for me it started as just fun but it always gets mixed up with the rush of chasing a win. Do you think the excitement fades faster when you bet for money instead of for the pure enjoyment?
Vaelssa Posted July 11 #7 Posted July 11 Discipline kinda goes out the window the moment you confuse the thrill with a paycheck. Hard to keep it casual when your brain starts doing that slent math
hollowari Posted July 11 #8 Posted July 11 I remember turning a $5 fun bet into a whole spreadsheet plan, that moment the fun just evaporated.
Ivoryarund Posted July 11 #9 Posted July 11 When the "making money" part creeps in it stops feeling like a game and more like a weird second job you didnt even apply for.
mooeily5 Posted July 11 #10 Posted July 11 I always tell myself it's for the fun but deep down that little thrill is what keps me clicking. If it was purely about money I think I would have quit the first time I lost a deposit.
hollowynna016 Posted July 11 #11 Posted July 11 What happens when you haave a long session where the thrill just isn't there at all, do you still find it easy to walk away?
Phanten Posted July 12 #12 Posted July 12 Honestly for me it started as pure fun but somewhere along the way that thrill just got tangled up with wanting to win something back. I think the dicipline part goes out the window when you chase a feeling insted of just enjoying the moment.
