If they start crossing earlier before the defense sets up, those wide overlaps actually become dangerous. Waiting too long kills the whole point of holding the ball.

exactly. its almost frustrating to watch them hold it so long then pass backwards when a simple early ball into the box could cause chaos. en nesyri is licking his lips for any scrap but the delivery just aint coming quick enough

Honestly they need to stop recycling the ball sideways and start hitting those early crosses into the box where chaos actually pays off. Even a scuffed shot on target can force a corner or a rebound goal, possession means nothing if you never test the keeper.
