For me it clicked during that world cup game where mbappe just kept running past everyone and the whole stadium could see it coming but noboddy could stop it. That raw speed to decide a final felt different than the slow build up chess match type of domination I grew up watching.

Honestly I lean Ronaldo simply becuse he rebuilt himself like three times over, from a flashy winger to a pure killer in the box and that level of reinvention at the top is way rarer than just raw talent dominating from day one.
