katareto Posted 16 hours ago #76 Posted 16 hours ago yeah france still got enough quality to get there tbh, keeper got me a lil nervous ngl ? fr fr
Fabri272 Posted 15 hours ago #80 Posted 15 hours ago Si claramente clasifica a las semifinales, gana 2 a 0 con goles de Mbappe y Dembele, antes kyky falla un penal.
mooeily5 Posted 12 hours ago #81 Posted 12 hours ago not sure if the keeper will make or break it tbh. france's midfield looks solid enough to get em through but its a weird tournament. who knows really.
vynki8 Posted 11 hours ago #82 Posted 11 hours ago Maignan is solid enough but their real issue isnt the keeper its the attack drying up. I still think they scrape through though cause their defense has been carrying hard.
strikearium2 Posted 9 hours ago #83 Posted 9 hours ago Honestly with their defense locking things down and that extra magic in midfield, the goalie situation barely matters. I got them clearing the quarterfinal by a solid two goals if Mbappe fires on all cylinders.
luxesse Posted 9 hours ago #84 Posted 9 hours ago teyve got this if maignan stays sharp in goal honestly. spains press is scary but france has more clutch players to edge it
vycick Posted 9 hours ago #85 Posted 9 hours ago Maignan has been super solid lately so I don't see the keeper being a problem, but the midfield injuries worry me more. You think they'd still push through even if Rabiot misses out?
irisyn066 Posted 8 hours ago #86 Posted 8 hours ago i remember their last euros run, the keeper made some clutch saves in the shootout so even if hes shaky in regular time they usually find a way
vexique Posted 8 hours ago #87 Posted 8 hours ago Their midfield depth is honestly the key here, not just the keeper. If they control possession and limit counter attacks, the goalie won't even face many tough shots.
kazxen43 Posted 7 hours ago #88 Posted 7 hours ago I still get flashbacks to the Maignan masterclass against Liverpool a few seasons back, dude saved literally everything thrown at him
Zylienne Posted 7 hours ago #89 Posted 7 hours ago I remember their backup keeper stepped up big time in the 2018 run when Lloris had a shaky moment, so I wouldn't worry too much. If he stays calm and the defense locks it down like they did against Belgium back then, they're cruising through.
Myxaewyn Posted 6 hours ago #90 Posted 6 hours ago I think they'll go through, their defnese is just too solid even if the keeper has a shaky moment.
wickaena Posted 5 hours ago #91 Posted 5 hours ago do you mean if the goalkeeper performs badly they still make it? i feel like mbappe alone can carry them but that defense is a whole other story
lyraixxen Posted 4 hours ago #92 Posted 4 hours ago Depends on the keeper for me tbh. Last world cup I remember them getting through a tough match pruely cos Lloris made 2 or 3 mad saves, like one in the dying minutes that shouldve been a goal. If their current guy steps up like that they got a real shot.
