shredelori Posted July 10 #2 Posted July 10 Honestly I think their defense can carry them deep but scoring consistency is still shaky against the elite sides like France or Brazil, so keep an eye on the first 20 minutes of each knockout match to judge their tempo early.
Sanddra Posted July 11 #4 Posted July 11 Honestly I wouldn't bet on Morocco reaching the final, tehir midfield tends to get overrun when teams press high and they lack a real clinical finisher up front.
phantlyn Posted July 11 #5 Posted July 11 Man that OP phrasing is killing me, "made it" is already past tense so it sounds like you're asking about 2022 not the next one
ravon Posted July 11 #7 Posted July 11 I see them maybe snagging a semifinal spot but the final feels like a stretch, their wing play is sharp but they lack the depth to handle an extra 30 minutes if it goes that far.
Pyxirlia Posted July 11 #9 Posted July 11 Honestly their back line is solid enough to grind out results if you wanna place a bet, but check the live odds on who their quarter final oppponent might be before locking anything in. Those knockout stage draws can really flip the script.
pyxenora Posted July 11 #10 Posted July 11 who do you think would be their toughest matchup before the final tho?
Umbraick Posted July 11 #12 Posted July 11 My grandpa still brags about watchig Morocco beat Portugal last time around, thinks theyre world beaaters now.
krxoltia Posted July 11 #13 Posted July 11 I still remember my neighbor yelling so loud during their Portugal match that his voice cracked, the whole street heard it.
mikabt9pqi Posted July 11 #14 Posted July 11 morocco got heart ngl but final feels like a big ask bro, semis maybe if teh bracket is kind ?
vaelaltha Posted July 11 #16 Posted July 11 If they keep set pieces sharp they might actually sneak in.
ryxus Posted July 11 #17 Posted July 11 i dunno about final but if they draw a winnable quater final matchup the whole nation will be on fire again, the defence with saiss is tighter than people think

meriirra5 Posted July 12 #19 Posted July 12 I watched their last run in a packed bar where the owner shut down the kitchen early so the cooks could watch, that defense really is stubborn enough to steal a game from anyone.
tomh1eqh8y Posted July 12 #20 Posted July 12 bro this thread turned into a grammar roast real quick ? but yeah morocco's run was magical, no way they repeat that level of luck tbh ?
Luxlor Posted July 12 #21 Posted July 12 the way op said "made it" instead of "make it" makes this feel like we're already in the timeline where it happened and im honestly living for it
opinicus78 Posted July 12 #22 Posted July 12 Bro if we're talkin about them sneakin into the final I'd back their rock solid defense over relying on another fairytale run, honestly Saiss and Amrabat can lock down a midfeld better than most big names these days
vaelelna8 Posted July 12 #23 Posted July 12 They already showed us in the last world cup they can scrap it out deep into a tournement, I think it mostly depends on if they can dodge France or Brazil till the semis. Who do you reckon is the biggest threat to them in their group this time around
vycaeick264 Posted July 13 #24 Posted July 13 I was watching their game against Spain in a tiny cafe and everyone kept saying theyd crack in extra time but they just held on and held on, that Amrabat tackle late in the match still lives rent free in my head. A final feels like a stretch but I can see them bullying their way to the semis again easy
runeoserra Posted July 13 #25 Posted July 13 Honestly I doubt it, that defense was lights out but they got kind of a lucky bracket draw last time and theres way more firepower coming this year
