Alot of subtopics won't count towards forum sats. Only constructive ones count I'm assuming

As it was already explained above, the topic can get you UP TO 5000 satoshis and post UP TO 1000, it all depends of the quality of the content written. Also, some of the Boards won't give you any credits, since they are not for information sharing, but for fun
