CntryBoy Posted June 13, 2019 #26 Posted June 13, 2019 I don't always double when that is the case, but I do more often than not. I tend to play based on the way the cards have been coming. Too many times have I "played by the book" and gotten burned with a very low card, only to see the dealer end with 17-21.
rararararay08 Posted June 13, 2019 #27 Posted June 13, 2019 yes always double, don't miss the chance of having 11 total in two card because there is a high chance of getting high card like K, Q, J or 10
rdbase Posted June 13, 2019 #28 Posted June 13, 2019 I have been playing blackjack for the past three years and at many different casinos. They always you should double down if you have an eleven and this is true so to cut down the chances of the dealer winning his hand. Even if they have a 10 (face card) more than likely they will have a 20 or lower, so why not take the chance to get 3 to 2 odds at least at this casino to get the profit instead of the just the 2x of your wagered amount. I noticed playing here today that if you have a 14 your wont ever get away with hitting on this hand. I tried it for atleast 50 hands and none of them ever ended up not busting.🙄 At other casinos it came up most of the time with 17+ to 20.
hillowner45 Posted July 9, 2019 #29 Posted July 9, 2019 Nah you should double a 11 even if the dealer is showing a 11. You still got a slight mathematical advantage over them. Long term you should win more than you lose with doubling.
Aazzah Posted July 24, 2019 #31 Posted July 24, 2019 Hey there shaniqua! I honestly do this anyway as of lately i started doing this.. I am seriously playing black jack a lot more often now because I actually know all of the tips and tricks on what to do. Like for instance... Stand on 16 or higher double down on 11... I kind of have an idea on what I am doing now xD. But anyway thank you for spreading the information to all the other users here on the stake forums! Have a great day everyone and good luck playing!

Enzo Posted August 13, 2019 #34 Posted August 13, 2019 I usually double when I have 11-13 total deal. Otherwise I don't double very much. I've had quite good success with doubling at those hands too. Seemed to work out quite well for me for the most part. Every now and then I take a loss.
sheenazbay Posted September 12, 2019 #35 Posted September 12, 2019 I always double if I get 11, whatever cards the dealer has. and it always works, even though sometimes it's not, the winning percentage is bigger, this game depends on how we handle it
