cointikka Posted May 24, 2019 Author #3 Posted May 24, 2019 Yes, it is the same government. But they have not completely banned Crypto in India. The Reserve Bank has banned Crypto based exchanges as they do not have the proper license to operate. You still allowed to TRADE & HODL cryptos in India.
rdbase Posted May 24, 2019 #4 Posted May 24, 2019 Okay. So just like in china where they banned trading on their exchanges late last year. So their might be a chance if they can get their act together and decide what they want crypto to be to their country. A tool for criminals to launder money back and forth which is what they are claiming it is being used for with the banks banning its use or viable way to transmit currency around the globe. It is in their governments hands unfortunately.
