beach Posted Friday at 08:41 AM #1 Posted Friday at 08:41 AM I've always wondered how different people's daily routines are. Some people wake up early feeling full of energy, while others do their best work late at night. Personally, I think both lifestyles have their own advantages depending on your responsibilities and habits. Are you more productive in the morning or at night? What time of day do you usually feel the most focused?
frostzyl Posted 17 hours ago #2 Posted 17 hours ago night owl here for sure, my brain doesnt even wake up properly til after 10pm. do you find your focus changes depending on if you have coffee or not or is it just natural for you?
auroraus Posted 14 hours ago #3 Posted 14 hours ago Night owl focus is overrated honestly, the world just isnt bult for that schedule and it catches up to you.
Bless_98 Posted 14 hours ago #4 Posted 14 hours ago I'm productive both in the morning and night but not afternoon.......
phantha Posted 14 hours ago #5 Posted 14 hours ago I’ve tried forcing myself into the morning routine a few times and it never sticks, by 11pm I’m still wide awake sorting through random stuff. It’s less about preference and more about which hours your brain actually cooperates.
wrenienne Posted 12 hours ago #10 Posted 12 hours ago My body simply refuses to cooperate before noon no matter what routine I try.
Shredenyn3 Posted 10 hours ago #14 Posted 10 hours ago Definitely night owl here, my brain just refuses to boot up properly before 10am. Do you find your most productive hours shifted when you had to follow a strict schedule like school or work?
LUCID2007 Posted 5 hours ago #17 Posted 5 hours ago I dont have the chance to choose because I work on both sides
zyxarique Posted 1 hour ago #20 Posted 1 hour ago I'm not sure I'd call either one strictly "better," honestly. It feels like being a morning person gets put on a pedestal too much, but I know plenty of night owls who just learned to scheduule deep work late and it's more about consistency than the actual clock.
