really does not suck,, is limited because there will be some players in abusing the reward system,, is not abusing is basically over use of the resource that is provided for us.. is like using the faucet.. now i think i know why i might suck, because some people usually go for the entire limit which is 10 or 15,, so i will come and go just like that and wait 24 hours before you can do another one, well if  you knew how to manage the usage of it., it can go on for many hours. i conserve mines,, use here and there,, and make it count,,

avoiding people abuse the reward system can easily be solved by just giving rewards to the first x amount of post every 24 hours.  It can not be that difficult to set to unlimit but only reward a member his first x amount of posts.

hello @nettekut its a good idea i also faced same type of problems.some time we reply good posts but our limit up to 20 per day.hope it will be better for genuine  forum  contributor.

I just found out that there is a limit to post, so if a new member like me can only get 10 posts per day, it is added to my knowledge about this forum because I have never done more than 9 post per day.

Well, forum would be pretty spammy if there wasn't a limit. So, valuable users might be rewarded with more limits on daily forum posts which is actually good for the community. Once someone is valuable enought, there is a VIP rank which let you post 40 times a day.

I completely understand the reason that the number of posts per day is limited.  It protects from folks spamming like crazy and abusing the rewards system.  I truly believe though that some slight tweaks do need to be made, such as Private Messages not counting towards the daily post limit.  It is very annoying to have until the counter restes to be able to reply to PMs.  I believe that in and of itself would be a minimal change, and would not increase spam and abuse.

Well the one other way is to rank up to Hero Member where your post limit per day would be increased to the maximum available. ;)

every day when i reach my maxposts im just thinking the same, but i guess its a good thing to have the max post per day.

if it wouldnt be there i guess there would be way more senseless spam on forum as it already is.

the key is: more posts in total = more posts per day :P

It could be worst, by adding the revision before posting so they can decide if content is with quality or just silly.  Setting a daily limit for posting gives the sensation that you will use it not only to get balance but to really participate with quality content.  Quality is scarce and much more when all you have is to type few words with no sense....just likethis one post.  Good luck.

My suggestion to stake is to set the amount of post to unlimited but build in the software that only the 20 first post within a 24 hour timeframe are rewarded.

Something like this makes sense to me, but I would set the limit for paid posts, MUCH MUCH lower.  I defy you to find 20 posts made by a single user in 24 hours that are really high quality.  So if you want to spam the forum, go right ahead, but don't be looking for payment.  Of course, that might just inspire more alts, so as usual, we can't have nice things.

This thread actually duplicates another one, so I'll merge them.

for me this limit post per day is doing fine,,this is to avoid spam :), i remember my 1st reached post limit within a day, it was a challenge created by steve you need to wait for someone to post their bet i.d before you can post it again, it just happen that i dont have work that time so i keep the challenge going on and on, then suddenly it says that i was reached the limit post per day, i contacted support and they do nothing about the issue because that is a rule, ended i was lost that challenge coz i cant post anymore  :)
