Spain arrives at SoFi Stadium with something historic: they haven't conceded a single goal all tournament   , and goalkeeper Unai Simón has set a new World Cup record for minutes without conceding   . Add a 15-match unbeaten run   and it's clear La Roja aren't just winning — they're suffocating opponents before they can breathe.
Belgium is the opposite story entirely. They nearly went home against Senegal, all but eliminated before a stunning comeback capped by a 125th-minute extra-time winner  . Then they turned around and demolished co-hosts USA 4-1  , with Charles De Ketelaere's first-half double doing the damage   . The twist that makes this genuinely fascinating: Belgium have played their best football without Kevin De Bruyne on the pitch   , their talisman hampered by injury all tournament — yet he's almost certain to start today. Nobody, including Belgium's own coaching staff, seems to know which version of this team shows up.

Spain's defense has been unreal but honestly I think Belgium's chaotic energy might be the exact thing that cracks it open. Kinda feels like one of those matches where the first goal decides everything.

I remember a similar clash in the Euros qualifiers when an immovable backline ran into a team that just threw numbers forward without overthinking it, and the chaos produced three goals in the final ten minutes. This has that exact vibe where Belgium's erratic momentum could be the one thing Spain's structured wall can't anticipate.

spains defence has been rock solid but rember that usa game belgium were stull deadly when they finally got space. im kinda leaning toward belgium surprising them with pace on counter breaks tbh

Spain's wall is impressive but I actually think Belgium thrives when teams sit deep and try to hold them off. The longer it stays 0 0, the more reckless Belgium gets and that chaos is exactly what breaks a rigid defense.

I saw a similar stalemate in a club friendly once where the keeper hadn't let a goal in for over 400 minutes and then a fluke deflection off a defender's heel ended the streak in the sloppiest way possible. Belgium feels like the kind of team that doesn't care how the goal comes, just that it does, and that might be Spain's nightmare.
