Do you cast your vote for who your favourite weekly charity is? Have you had any experiences like this on other sites? Whats your thoughts on this initiative? I'd love to hear your feedback and get some insights on what everyone thinks!

jinz Posted June 4, 2019 #4 Posted June 4, 2019 Yes, I cast my vote mostly on Twitter. I don't know any other gambling sites doing this kind of initiative, Stake/Primedice is first for me. It is a good thing to see a gambling site donating on charities.

To be honest in my opinion I don't feel that some of the ones chosen for us to pick from are what I would classify as "charity".. To me "charity " is giving to those whom are way less fortunate and are in dire need for compassionate human beings to help with food, shelter, clothing and emergency situations. I think that its so important that we all as a human race do our part to help our neighbors in the time of need . So I', sorry if this comes out wrong but take it as you will. If it were up to me I would be choosing an actual "Charity" that is desperate for the $1000. I guess what I'm trying to say is why give money to places like the red card or the privacy online project . That money could be going to Feed The Children or maybe The Red Cross, or even better.... my favorite place to donate to is "St. Judes Childrens hospital" .. its a NON-profit children's cancer hospital that is ran completely off of donations from the community so that parents do not have to bare the burden of hospital bills while there young child goes through cancer treatment. All the money that is raised pays for EVERYTHING for a childs stay and that includes the parents needs as well. anyway sorry if I come off a little strong but I'm a very compassionate person and I'm a mother so my words are from the heart.

I was surprised that stake has charity and helps people , and give players a chance to vote for what charity to help first. I'll cast vote and participate in those charity polls from now on , i had never seen other sites that has charity system in them especially gambling sites.This is the first for me. Thank you for helping the needy.

Whichever Charity ends up winning means the same thing to me as long as the intention of our actions are made clear. Nonetheless if Stake requires help to poll or vote I will definitely do my best to help! 🙂

Thank you for these promotions though! IT's the first time I've seen any online site that did this. Even facebook doesn't do this (as far as i know) So big thumbs up for you guys!

GKD09 Posted June 5, 2019 #20 Posted June 5, 2019 This week is the first where I actually realised this charity thing and read it on twitter. The prev week I didn't know what exactly it was. I think it's a really great initiative. Donating to charity is one of the most humane things to do, what most people and organisations often forget to do. We all came to this world the same way, its unfortunate for some people or nations to have major disadvantages, its not really their fault. Really love that you guys are doing that, even being a casino. I'm not sure if I have heard of any casinos donating. I think casinos are often greedy and unfair just to keep gaining more, but I think you guys are doing a great job and thats why we all love this staff. I will make sure I vote for every following week!

I think you would get more votes if you made a poll on the forum or put it in the header of the login page. I also think it would be cool if you offered stake users the chance to nominate their favorite charities to be one of the 6. Just some ideas. 🙂
