Shaniqua Posted June 13, 2019 #1 Posted June 13, 2019 I thought in the past it would have been the best decision in the world instead of buying 10 or 20 or 100 bucks a week via btc atm to gamble here on stake with, to instead have had invested in a 1000 dollar ant btc miner and used the earnings everyday to buy btc with and gamble with that... is this option still viable with such a little investment or is it too late? does anyone do this here?
Kate Posted June 13, 2019 #2 Posted June 13, 2019 A bad idea because for mining you would need a lot of electricity and you would end up paying the money for that electricity with the mining work.
Etude Posted June 13, 2019 #3 Posted June 13, 2019 I think buying a sole Miner for BTC now would not be cost efficient at all in terms of costing in areas such as electricity consumption costs to thep potentially mined amounts. I think only those who owns a mining farms stands a chance for real profitability presently.
nattekut Posted June 13, 2019 #4 Posted June 13, 2019 not worthwile. better to put it in a trading account and use the pofits you make their for gambling. This is something I am doing myself
Shaniqua Posted June 13, 2019 Author #5 Posted June 13, 2019 but at least 2 years agoi know ppl that say did it with success =/ so they said..
nattekut Posted June 13, 2019 #6 Posted June 13, 2019 2 minutes ago, Shaniqua said: but at least 2 years agoi know ppl that say did it with success =/ so they said.. mining 2 years ago is nothing compared to what it is now. 2 years ago people were mining BTC when it was in a bull run with BTC going to 10k, 15k and even 20k. so at that time it was much more profitable if you convert it to $ or € and pay electricity. But nowadays with a single miner you will need to have very cheap electricity to make it worthwile.
williamshennie9 Posted June 14, 2019 #7 Posted June 14, 2019 Remember the electricity costs and other maintenance and running costs of owning and operating a bitcoin miner. Not sure if it is profitable, but make sure you do proper reach about all the costs before investing in one.
