I rarely play more than 4 numbers, and I am always playing on the highest setting, which on Stake.us plinko, is called "High". Other plinkos sometimes call it "Extreme" or "Super". But they all typically pay out somewhere in the range of 259x for the highest "difficulty" setting. It pays 259x for 4 numbers. Which I think is extremely generous. And I don't see how going for 5-6-7 or higher numbers really is worth it. Considering the odds decrease exponentially. And FAST. The difference in the chances of you getting all 4 numbers as opposed to say, all 6 numbers, is like insanely worse. And it really doesn't pay out enough more for it to be worth it in my eyes. But occasionally I will go for 5 or 6, but never really higher.... because it's just never gonna happen. But getting all 4 happens OFTEN. Sometimes back-to-back. Hope this helps somebody =). Love keno. Try these numbers with my settings, and you'll see how good it is. =)
