Kevin De Bruyne played 86 minutes for Belgium in today's 2–1 loss against Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarter-final.

De Bruyne started for Belgium at Los Angeles Stadium and contributed to the team's attacking efforts, notably helping set up Charles De Ketelaere's 41st-minute equalizer. However, Spain secured the victory with a late 88th-minute goal from Mikel Merino. De Bruyne received a yellow card in the 85th minute and was substituted shortly after.
