When i joined stake i won also 6 ethereum, but of course. I lost all of it. Stupid me. But i see in chat that i'm not the only person. Who else have experienced this?
barbaris Posted June 17, 2019 #2 Posted June 17, 2019 Here everyone once experienced a loss. Maybe it was not in the size that you have. But this is a gamble, so you need to be able to stop in time, otherwise greed will play a cruel joke with us.

More common than people winning 1 BTC and actually "winning" it - meaning having a net profit of 1 btc or 2 eth etc. Most people deposit so over and over or they deposit a huge amount and lose alot and then make up for their depos with 1 btc. Doesn't always mean they won it, get me? The amount doesn't matter, but we all will go through huge losses if we keep playing the game and with some usual qualities like greed and a liiitle bit or rage, we can go all the way down. I myself lost around 1mil sats recently, definitely not as much as you but I was a fair amount from the deposits I made. Not sure how much your net profit was when you made 5 eth before you lost it, but that sounds like you had a lot of luck. Always make sure to cash out your luck - cause damn that runs out quick. Also now that you lost 5 eth, like usual people if we keep that in the back of our mind while wagering we are most likely to lose more trying to win more. Just treat each new deposit or betting session on its own and I'm sure you'll do good Good luck matey!

When you win a lot and all goes well in a row then at some point you start loosing and from that point it can go two ways: a) you will go down with your balance almost bust, but not really. A few last rolls could give you win. Big enough to get more to play more. I have experienced it many times and I have seen people talking about it on the chat when they say that they won in the last possible moment when they almost bust everything. After that the story repeats, basically you go down again and then you may win again or bust this time for good b) you go all the way down with your balance and bust everything. The solution: you need to stop at some point. You need to know when to stop playing when it seems to good to be true. Nobody knows when exactly and then the greed kicks in and most people continue to play because they have the feeling that everything is ok and they win more. But you need to stop playing because you will eventually loose everything. The best way to stop is when you see that you start loosing again. At that point many people try to win back what they lost and they get nervous and begin to play very high risk just to get back what they lost. They are trying to chase this luck that just vanished. That's the worst thing you can do because you will bust all of it. However when you have big balance sometimes it's worth to try huge risk but this is the decision you need to make it. Is it worth it to risk loosing the balance that was achieved so hard.

When a gambler builds a nice balance or when he hits a big multiplier that suddenly boosts his balance they get in some kind of rush and just keep going and bust after that. Most gambler just keep going, increase their base bet and start playing above their normal limits. I have experienced this multiple times and not only in casino games like stake. I remember my early days in poker. I was managing a strict bankroll management and was building my roll in a steady and stable way. But one day I won a 215$ buy-in ticket for a big online tourney and I managed to turn that ticket into a 21,000$ cash. Even though I was managing a strict bankroll management the next 2 weeks I started playing tournaments with buyins from 109$ up to 1050$. Even though I cashed some nice money in some of this tournaments I still lost 7,000$ of the 21k that I won. At that moment you just are in a rush and you want more. luckily back then I gained back my cool and withdrew the remaining 14k and just kept building with the money I already had on my account.

By this I mean that since you built up a lot in the first place, then the site hooks you and you want to keep betting and playing and losing money. it's all part of their big plan haha.

But i lost it to 0.01 and recovered to 0.16 and withdrawed. That was So close but Yes. I started with winning then big lose. Hope u Will win a lot. Good luck!
williamshennie9 Posted June 17, 2019 #11 Posted June 17, 2019 I've busted a large amount on Stake, around 0.05 btc on blackjack. Since that day, I try to manage my bets as best as I can so that it never happens again. It comes down to self control at the end of the day

The key is to cash some out when you're hot, and not think the luck will last forever... it never does. I've ran up large amounts only to lose it back many times as well.

rajamishra Posted June 17, 2019 #14 Posted June 17, 2019 hello friends it's obviously when you in winning stage cant stop after a good win and anticipate more and more thats we trapped by bot and lost everything and back to 0.its once happen to all who are started gambling in beginning stage. only reasons when we start play we don't know where to stopped and how many times or rolles after a black hole waited for us.
