I see the WC argument but tbh international trophies are kinda luck based with teams you cant choose. Ronaldo dragging Portugal to that Euro 2016 final while injured on the sideline coaching everyone was leadership you just dont see from Messi imo.

This whole debate feels sort of pointless after a while, both of them are just so far ahead of everyone else it stops being a comparison. The crazy thing is I dont even remember most specific goals anymore, just this general blur of them both winning everything for like fifteen years.
