Oddspro Posted 11 hours ago #1 Posted 11 hours ago Do you analyze statistics or simply trust your football knowledge?
nalorynerra Posted 5 hours ago #2 Posted 5 hours ago I get why people lean on stats but sometimes I feel like watching the actual matches tells you stuff the numbers never will. A player could be off form in a way that no spreadsheet is gonna catch.
luxioxen Posted 4 hours ago #5 Posted 4 hours ago honestly i mostly just look at the last 5 results and if someone’s suspended, i used to dig into all these heatmaps and passing stats but it just fried my brain and i didnt even bet better
onyxaresse Posted 3 hours ago #6 Posted 3 hours ago nah i do the opposite, barely any research and i probably win more that way honestly
VictoryRush Posted 3 hours ago #8 Posted 3 hours ago I usually mix both! Stats provide great insights, but my gut feeling has come through for me a few times too.
ravenick Posted 3 hours ago #9 Posted 3 hours ago I used to spend hours on it but it never really made much difference, maybe even made me second guess the obvious stuff. now i just check if the main striker is out and glance at the form guide, the rest is just noise honestly
Frostaeund805 Posted 3 hours ago #10 Posted 3 hours ago The moment I see an injury to the main goalkeeper I know it’s going to be a mess.
nyxriin363 Posted 1 hour ago #12 Posted 1 hour ago Trusting my gut gets me furher than staring at spreadsheets ever did tbh
