MarkusEmo Posted Saturday at 10:00 AM #1 Posted Saturday at 10:00 AM The CS2 Major starts this weekend, and from my experience, Stake’s live algorithms overreact massively to pistol rounds. If a heavy favorite drops the first pistol round, their live odds tank way harder than they probably should. Are any of you guys specifically waiting for the favorites to drop early rounds just to grab the inflated live odds, or are the momentum swings in CS2 this year too volatile to trust the comebacks?
luxess Posted Saturday at 12:53 PM #2 Posted Saturday at 12:53 PM Live odds after pistol lsos are basically free value now
thornrel Posted Saturday at 03:01 PM #3 Posted Saturday at 03:01 PM i duunno i feel like the overreaction is built in for a reason this year, the economy resets after pistols are so brutal now that a lost pistol can easily chain into a 5 0 deficit before you can buy anything. grabbing live odds there isnt always free money
Sophirelle891 Posted Saturday at 03:33 PM #4 Posted Saturday at 03:33 PM G2 lost pistol yesterday and oddds flipped instantly
Aestave Posted Saturday at 03:39 PM #5 Posted Saturday at 03:39 PM Yeh I usually fade Public favorites
pyxenora Posted Saturday at 04:24 PM #6 Posted Saturday at 04:24 PM i did that last major on vitality after they drropped pistol vs mongolz and it paid out nice
ladyast Posted Saturday at 04:53 PM #7 Posted Saturday at 04:53 PM Last major I grabbed FaZe at like 2.8 after they lost the opening pistol to an underdog and they just reset hard on the next gun round, straight value.
Nalorzyl0 Posted Sunday at 08:18 AM #8 Posted Sunday at 08:18 AM Spirit look so sharp on pistol rounds lately that fading them early is just asking to get burned, but against someone like ENCE who choke hard I'm def hunting those inflated live lines after round 1.
yeHEMO6 Posted 15 hours ago #9 Posted 15 hours ago do you guys think this strat works better on bo1s where a single reet round can spiral the odds, or does it hold up in bo3s too where the favourite has time to stabilise?
