MarkusEmo Posted Saturday at 10:28 AM #1 Posted Saturday at 10:28 AM I just spent an hour on the new Dragonspire Frostfall slot. I have to admit, the graphics and the sound design are easily some of the best I’ve seen on Stake this year. But man, the payouts feel insanely tight. I hit the free spins twice and both times it paid out less than my original bet size. Is this game just exceptionally high volatility, or is Paperclip Gaming known for having incredibly tight slots?
Phaneon Posted Saturday at 12:37 PM #2 Posted Saturday at 12:37 PM Got 3 bonus rounds, all paid zero point zero.
Sandiroria Posted Saturday at 07:04 PM #3 Posted Saturday at 07:04 PM honestly paperclip has always had that reputation for me, their slots look and sound incredible but the math model feels way too grindy even for a high volatilty game
Vyxry Posted yesterday at 03:00 AM #4 Posted yesterday at 03:00 AM I played their older tiitle Crystal Caverns for like a week straight last month and had the exact same feeling, beautiful game but my biggest win was barely 40x after hundreds of spins. Seems like that's just their style.
luxelle Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM #5 Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM I honestly think they spend more on the art team than balancing the paytable at this point.
frankimia20 Posted yesterday at 08:30 AM #7 Posted yesterday at 08:30 AM I dunno man I'd rather play a ugly game that actually pays out once in a while over a pretty slideshow that eats my balance. At least then I feel like I'm playing a slot not watching a tech demo.
neoh6v1a58 Posted 5 hours ago #8 Posted 5 hours ago I hit the bonus on their last game Mistveil something and it actually felt like I was collecting imaginary coins for 2 minutes straight, ended up with 15x and called it a day.
