It just says Messi but the actual question is who lifts the trophy so maybe op meant the one he already won. Honestly with France rebuilding and Brazil still shaky it probably goes to Spain or England if we are talking future editions.

I wouldn't write off Argentina so fast, their squad is still stacked and they have a real winning mentality now. Messi might not be the same explosive force but he can still control a game and unlock a defensse when it matters.
