Man it took me like 200 hands of blackjack before I figured out that slow rolling my bets after a loss instead of doubling down mad actually kept me in the gaame longer and the odds felt less punishing, patience really is the edge sometimes

id much rather write down the messups than just brush it off, you dont actually learn if you pretend the bad session didnt happen. ignoring it feels easier in the moment but next time you just trip over the same thing again.

The bit about improving decision making really sticks because it's easy to forget that every spin or hand is basically a tiny test of patience, not just luck. I've found that even noticing when I almost made a dumb move but didn't counts as a win for that session.
