· Obsession vs. Balance: Was the athlete’s single-minded devotion heroic or self-destructive? Did the book glorify the "grind" or expose its dangers?
· Choking under pressure: The book likely features a critical failure. Was it a failure of skill, or a failure of the mind? Can mental toughness be taught, or are you born with it?
· The "Mickey Mantle" Paradox: How did the book handle the tension between godlike talent and deeply human flaws (addiction, infidelity, rage)?

Man the mental side is so underrated, it is the whole game really. I feel like you can teach some resilience but some people just have that ice in their veins from day one.

The choking part always hits hardest because it looks like a skill failure to the crowd but it's really your own brain turning against you in the moment. I think you can drill the mental game like any muscle but some people still freeze up when it counts no matter how much they prep.
