yeHEMO6 Posted July 13 #30 Posted July 13 If you're trying to mimic R9's style in game, you pretty much have to use L1 speed boosts more than actual skill moves, once he gets going he's almost impossible to shove off.
ash4tm1c Posted July 13 #32 Posted July 13 Do you think he was better at tight spaces or open field runs?
raulloris85 Posted July 14 #35 Posted July 14 Hard to argue with that pick honestly, the way he kept the ball close to his feet at full speed wasnt something you see often. Still feels like most strikers these days lose the ball too easily before they even get a shot off.
gUnofu5 Posted July 14 #36 Posted July 14 I remember watching old clips of R9 just gliding past defenders like they weren’t even there, man was built different. His balance at full speed still looks unreal compared to most strikers today.
lIreke1 Posted July 14 #37 Posted July 14 r9 was unreal. that goal against compstella in 96 where he just bullldozed through like four guys and still finished it clean. no one else made it look so chaotic and smooth at the same time
aquila86 Posted July 14 #38 Posted July 14 Ronaldo Nazario before those knee injuries was something else man, the way he could glide past 3 or 4 defenders and still finish with power was just unfair
Samzieman Posted July 14 #39 Posted July 14 Ronaldo nazario is cool, but overall I prefer neymar or ronaldino
orbfo023n Posted July 14 #42 Posted July 14 R9 at Inter was just unstoppable, those runs through Serie A defenses were unreal
