Amanda33333 Posted 3 hours ago #1 Posted 3 hours ago ๐จ FIFAโs chief refereeing officer, Pierluigi Collina, in a statement has firmly ๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ allegations that referees are being influenced in favor of Argentina at the 2026 World Cup ๐โ ๏ธ โNobody can claim that FIFA refereeing can be influenced by anyone, He has always shown his full support for FIFA Team One while trusting us to work with complete independence. Match officials make honest decisions and, just like players and coaches, they always try to do their best. Of course, constructive discussion about decisions will always be part of football, but The accusations came from Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan after his sideโs round-of-16 elimination by Argentina. Hassan was furious over a goal disallowed for Egypt, and over a penalty he felt should have been awarded in stoppage time before Argentinaโs winning goal. He spoke openly of โpressureโ on referee Francois Letexier and called the outcome โunfair.โ FIFA has ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ to these accusations.
Raxan Posted 2 hours ago #2 Posted 2 hours ago I once lost a bet on Argentina because of a handball call so blatant even my grandmother texted me to complain. Amanda33333 1
aurorays4 Posted 2 hours ago #4 Posted 2 hours ago Collina can say whatever he wants but that penalty call against France in the final still lives rent free in my head, the odds shifted so violently after that whistle I thought my screen was glitching. It is funny how thesse allegations always pop up right when Argentina benefits in a knockout match.
