Is it crazy to think cryptocurrency is the future of money?

The most controversial topic in the last five years. Some criticize them, while others at that time earn millions and even billions on the “grayness” of the market. To understand what place they will take in our life in the future To do this, we need to view all understandable articles about the essence of cryptocurrency, their capabilities, study the history of its emergence, as well as all its “dark” sides (Terrorism financing, a money laundering tool, tax evasion, bitcoin-based online drug trade, and even a way to finance “leaders” under sanctions).

I think that the cryptocurrency will be the only means of payment of the future. However, most likely no existing cryptocurrency will become such a global payment instrument. They will simply be banned. Existing financial management centers simply will not allow the loss of control over cash flows.

If there's one thing I have learned from history, it is that you can be 100% right about a technological or product advance and still circumstances won't be in your favor for a long time. The future might not come as soon as you think, or in the way you expect.

It will be the future, no doubt.  Changes are coming and big economics gamblers are now taking that way, take a look to the Bank of International Settlements, those guys (with Agustin Carstens as head officer) where in constant fight against cryptocurrencies and now they are changing direction.  Bitcoin, criptocurrencies and Blockchain are the true future.

Да я сначала верил в крипту. Но  когда биткоинт резко упал я сильно призадумался. Пока стабильности нет. очень опасно.

There are many people out there who think cryptocurrency is a scam. They believe that if they can't hold it physically, then it isn't actually worth anything. But how does something gain any value? Something gets its value from the belief of it actually being worth something. If I held in one hand a sheet of paper and in the other hand I held paper money and told you that you can take only one, which would you choose? You'd take the money. The reason you would take the money over the sheet of paper is because you believe it has more value. Currency has changed multiple times throughout history. For an example, in the past, sea shells was used as a form of currency. Now days though, sea shells are worth hardly anything. So how come people believe our current form of currency won't change in the future? I believe the people who think that our currency will forever remain the same are the ones who are crazy. What do you think, could cryptocurrency be the future, or are we always going to use the currency we use today and why?

Well it's not crazy at all. But if I believe crypto will continue to exist and will gain in popularity with the years, I don't see them replacing literally fiat money. The 2 will coexist in the future because the 2 answer to 2 different needs. But I don't see  us buying the everyday bread or 6 pack with crypto. And for example about all the black market. Even if btc started by having great success in the dark web the past years have seen great effort from the crypto community to be accepted by regulator and stay out of money laundering and black markets. I'm not sure it fully working but the fact is today it's harder than before to sell any crypto for fiat money without giving full ID info. So we will need in the future to have fiat money to buy weed, drugs, sex and weapons. And that's a huge part of human businesses...

So I'll bet both fiat and crytpo will  coexist int he future. But crypto like BTC will be a value like gold is to me. Something to secure your wealth.

In some cases you can think that it's a crazy thing, cause the price of it is always unstable. Despite that fact, more and more people are using that, so I think it will be our future

The number of cryptocurrencies and crypto-wallets is constantly growing, today all this cannot burst like a soap bubble. In fact, everything is just beginning and in the future, cryptocurrency will increasingly penetrate our lives.

I don't think cryptocurrency is going to replace paper money atleast anytime soon, there are some problems that needs to be addressed like the fact that less educated people going to have a hard time figuring out how to use cryptocurrencies...

In some countries, it is already accepted as a virtual currency for payment. Some Internet services already allow you to pay with crypto. So all over the world everyone is trading with crypto. This will continue and evolve.

it may very well be.  it is even possible that cryptocurrencies will become much larger.  and they will be made less anonymous.  Officials will probably be in the black since  everything will be crypto so difficult to track

I rather doubt anyone can even imagine todays money being used 100 years from now, but will the change come in 10 years, maybe less? An American broadcaster, leader, calculationist, awesomist, Art Bell called it the Quickening. Our world is getting better, faster, electronics are smaller, cheaper and way, way better. So will Bitcoin reach 10 million by 2050 all things equal, yes. If it weren't for the select few that control our destiny, I am talking the mega-players,  Exxon, BP, todays royalty must be tomorrows, and they will stop at nothing to keep the status quo. They just might keep us spending dollars instead of LTC a few more years. Hold on for the change, it's already started. And little short of a 10' portal ripped open in your dining room and the 10'  winged reptilian stepping out, can stop it.

its not crazy to think that bitcoin is our future money. because of its trending merge all through out the world. the most volatile flactuating of its value. theres no choice is to hold it for a long time. sometimes other thinking is like a scam. but know you need to study or learn how to use it properly to prevent lost.

I can tell you with assurance: scams and Ponzi schemes are 95% of cryptocurrencies. And every day I have questions: "Is XYZ a scam?"And the answer is not heard by anybody.

They are all convinced that they are right. This is a bad sign. I still say that I am the most stupid person in the room. Then I call educated people and put other questions to them. And I read all I can, then. And I read the code here.

But the risk is big. Imagine, "Internet 1994." Just before the "right ahead."

BC will be representing "Before Crypto" and AC will be representing "After Crypto." Right now we're in AC and the world is changing.

It's not like cryptos or evil. It doesn't mean that you're not supposed to buy. It only means that there are plenty of scammers, every fraud face has detected by face recognition

and rumors there. We saw this trend in the last 20 years at least twice before, and a lot of people got injured.

I have been involved in Cryptocurrencies since 2013 (I sold my book, "Choose Yourself," to a Bitcoin store I founded one month before it was published on Amazon). I have taken part in several ICOs (Internet Coin Offers) over the past 18 months, all of which do well.

But, what if cryptocurrencies are not the future but the present?  Yes, most of us are not inside the banks corporations at the transactions process offices, however, I have heard that many, much more than what be think, trading among regular banks are doing transactions among them with cryptocurrencies.  It is the present, is happening right now and if there is not a mass adoption yet is because banks are trying to "understand" how they can get the most part of it as they always do.  The use of the blockchain technology has been increasing in a very fast way and because of that, because of the use of blockchain, is why btc and other cryptos "are" the present of the money ending with the fiat as we learned to use and know.  This is my opinion,  good luck.
