ravenayvar Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM #2 Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM I still remember watching Maradona in '86 and my uncle spilling his drink all over the couch when he dribbled past half the Egnland squad like they were training cones, pure chaos. Honestly that tournament made me a football fan for life.
synax Posted yesterday at 04:44 AM #3 Posted yesterday at 04:44 AM Pele had three trophies but honestly the 86 Maradona run felt like he just decided nobody was stopping him that summer, dragging a decent taem all the way on sheer will. Messi finally got his in 2022 and that was special too but watching Diego was just different man.
frankimia20 Posted yesterday at 10:24 AM #4 Posted yesterday at 10:24 AM I was at a bar in 2014 watching that James Rodriguez volley against Uruguay live and the whole place just went dead silent for a second before everyone lost their minds, still the cleanest strike I ever saw in a knockout game.
eucharia18 Posted 23 hours ago #5 Posted 23 hours ago I really enjoyed this year's world cup. One of the best
ducondimemay Posted 22 hours ago #6 Posted 22 hours ago That's a fun debate! You can't go wrong with legends like Pelé, Maradona, and Messi—they really set the bar high! Who's your top pick?
AcePlayer56 Posted 19 hours ago #7 Posted 19 hours ago That’s such a fun topic! You can’t go wrong mentioning legends like Pelé, Maradona, and Messi – they’ve all left a huge mark on the tournament!
lIreke1 Posted 4 hours ago #8 Posted 4 hours ago I watched the 2002 final in a crammed pub and a stranger hugged me when Ronaldo scored, spilling his beer all oevr my shoes.
HellVortex Posted 3 hours ago #11 Posted 3 hours ago My grandppa still insists Garrincha is the real legend nobody talks about anymore, with his dribbling and that leg length difference messing up defenders. I watched old grainy clips and half of them he just ghosts past people like its nothing, while the ball looks glued to him. Kinda weird how so many of those names faded out of top picks over time.
tOMEYa3 Posted 3 hours ago #12 Posted 3 hours ago Beckham over Garrincha anyday, that right foot had magic I swear.
