Patience vs Aggression: Which Strategy Wins More?

Poker is a game of skill, strategy, and psychology. Some players wait patiently for strong hands, while others apply constant pressure with aggressive play. Both styles can be effective when used at the right time. Which approach matches your poker style, and why?

Based on you opponents u need to adapt the strategy some people often play more bluffs you need to choose patients wait for the right thing if you are chip leader then near to bubble play aggressive will pay higher

i lean more patience cos i hate getting caught bluffing and losing chips for no reason. but if the table is way too tight you knda have to steal blinds sometimes or you just bleed out

i used to be super patient but then last week i sat at a table where nobody bet unless they had the nuts, it was so boring. started 3betting with junk like 7 4 suiteed just to wake everyone up and ended up stacking a guy who couldnt fold his queens

tbh i find pure patience just means you get blinded down while the aggro players scoop all the dead money, so i end up playing tight early but then i open up a lot more once antes kick in. its not really a style choice for me, its just math.

one thing i notice nobody mentions is tracking which opponents fold to c bets too much, that alone shifts my whole style. if they give up easy ill get more aggro with them but if theyre sticky ill just wait for actual value and let them hang themselves
