Can the forum tip be private?

I'm kinda embarassed sometimes when I withdraw from forum. I wanna have it privately. 

Can it be done?

Ohh ok then. It just came to my mind past few minutes ago cause some people say "wow" or any other reactions. I just wanna be left alone sometimes. Haha

I have never tipped the same forum members in stake, because if it is done, I am afraid I will be considered to have an alt account, so I do not want to try and will not want to do something like that in the forum. if it is allowed, I still don't want to tip in the forum.

I didn't mean from one user to another. What I meant was when withdrawing from forum to my stake account

Yeah same the time i saved up 120k i didnt want to withdraw it cuse i knew i will get begg and i did... and the small withdraws im just... dont want to kinda withdraw cuse i care what people think about me.

Honestly, I often tip privately to avoid issues or anything. I just hope this can be done privately if we wanted too

Hey guys making a quick topic to hear your guys opinion on this...

But, do you think it is a good idea if stake added a button for the  forum bot tipping privately? I think it is a good idea because:

- People might want some privacy.

- They don't want people to know they withdrew to stake from the forum.

And also for the sole fact that people might be begged or harassed. Sometimes when people get money they will be harassed.

I reckon stake should add this to their forums. It would be cool if they did... Does anyone else agree on this and would like to see this happen?

This is deffinetly a yay many people want privici and dont want to show how they withdraw bigg amount like me i did 120k i would hawe loved if i had got it in private. Some may withdraw small balance and dont want others to see it.

I don’t think it really matters to me ... I don’t ever get enough forum tips for it to matter much.   But I don’t think anyone really cares how much I got from the forum.    But I can see where your coming from.

Ohhh if that's the case, you can report this post and comment the link of your original post so that they can be merged.

Yep, that's the common scenario and sometimes it just get overlapped with a whole bunch of other posts which doesn't allow us to see it

I think this is one form of promotion from the marketing stake team to attract new users by showing that the forum in the stake is also a pleasant place

Yeah, would've loved it too, but it can't be done sadly, would've wanted to do it just cause sometimes these/low big withdrawals kinda embarass you sometimes and you might not wanna show how much you took out from forums to stake, one of the reasons being you will get begged on either privately or in the open, which isn't the best of a thing, because people will start getting mad at you if you don't give/donate them any funds, which is saddening because they can do the same thing as I did and get the funds that way, so I feel like it would be important.

ask eddiie directly i suggest.. at telegram., but why would you feel that way.. many known players doing the same thing as you,,, there should not be anything to be ashamed of, hell is better doing this then complaining about faucet.

Yay! I suggest that option in the past but no-one seemed to like it. Too good there are people who agrees on that as well. Hoping to see that feature soon to avoid begging or spam.

I like this idea and this function would be useful to save myself from beggars and not to be ashamed of the translation from the 2000 Satoshi forum. I believe that a person should have the right to choose.

I would prefer it private, but as Dan said a while back, it will remain public to promote the forum to users in the chat who might not know about it. I don't really see a problem with it being public, but private would be nice.

Well I am pretty much already used to the Forum rewards withdrawal to Stake being public. Yeah this is how Dan wants it to be down the road as a promotional tool for people to see there is incentives to use the forum.

I would also like there to at least be an option to make it private, just like all other tips sent at Stake.  I guess it's not as big of a deal as other person to person tips, since most times sending from the forum in probably on average only 10k sats or something.  I don't think that is going to trigger the beggars and friend requests like receiving a 0.01 tip would.

for me it doesn't matter when we attract forum funds and it's not in privacy because it will attract some players who haven't joined the forum stake, the more players joining the forum it might be good for web development and maybe adding new members who are interested in playing on stake.

I believe this topic was discussed months ago. IIRC, someone says it's good to not make it private, so it can courage people to go to forum and contribute.

About the button option, i like that, so we can choose to make it private or not.

we alrady know that who withdraw form forum is allittle lose on stake and they want to recover to their lose. but should add option to private tips is better i think.
