hal2ify7t7 Posted Monday at 08:26 AM #7 Posted Monday at 08:26 AM yoo bots on texas holdem would be so lit
zeds4xtya Posted Monday at 09:02 AM #8 Posted Monday at 09:02 AM tried playing against a friend’s poker bot script once and the thing bluffed me out of a full house, made me realize how much I rely on bad tells lol. might actualy sharpen people’s skills if they threw something like that in the practice tables
nixiyi9p3c Posted Monday at 09:08 AM #9 Posted Monday at 09:08 AM Would they make the bot play strictly by the odds or try to mimic human mistakes too
dexILOhEJu Posted Monday at 10:02 AM #10 Posted Monday at 10:02 AM Bots playing only by odds would get boring fast, let em bluff like a real donk.
halil6p2 Posted Monday at 10:12 AM #11 Posted Monday at 10:12 AM nah bots make it too predictable, real players are funnier
orbw1yt8f2 Posted Monday at 12:31 PM #12 Posted Monday at 12:31 PM I messed around with a solver bot offline for a week and my winrate on small stakes actually went up, not because I learned perfect GTO but because I stopped calling river jams with second pair like a complete station. Would definitely welcome some bot tables just to grind volume without the tilt from a real player slow rolling me for five seconds every hand.
juanhill37 Posted Tuesday at 10:35 AM #13 Posted Tuesday at 10:35 AM Honestly it might just teach new players bad habits since they would learn to counter a bot and not a real person.
leompoj5hfr Posted Tuesday at 10:58 AM #14 Posted Tuesday at 10:58 AM Would the bot havve its own bankroll or just play for chips?
axlrahh Posted Tuesday at 04:45 PM Author #15 Posted Tuesday at 04:45 PM Maybe 🤔 but bots can be smarter mate so it's up to people
nixzi849k Posted 14 hours ago #18 Posted 14 hours ago nah I don't think they should, it would just kill the vibe for casual players. people already multi table and use HUDs, adding a bot you can practice against feels like it would turn the whole lobby into a grindfest where nobody actually chats or has fun.
