one thing that really heled me early on was tracking my biggest losing hands for a week to spot patterns, like always overplaying top pair in early position. it's boring but you'll notice weird leaks you never thought you had.

position is something i wish i understood earlier cause playing too many hands out of turn just burns chips for no reason. my own little trick is to fold anything below jacks if someone raises before me and it keeps me out of so much trouble.
