it is not very good and it makes us lose a lot, I better play looking for profit than having to look for a prize that I think is not commensurate with the capital that we spend, if it's time to win we can win 10x from race prizes if we have capital great and good strategy setting.

 

but it also depends on the person because I see many who have balances but they play only chasing race prizes regardless of how much they lose, maybe they are looking for their own satisfaction if they can win a race even though the prize is not as big as what they have spent .

hmmm maybe the first couple spots have a positive expected value....but below that definately not. But theres no harm in trying to increase your balance during a race and getting a prize as a compensation no matter how big or small. The high rollers in those top positions play solely to increase their wagering amount, betting large amounts on a 1.01 multiplier. They try to minimize their loses while going for the top prizes and the rake back no doubts helps as well.

Doesn't sound like a very good deal to me.  This is why I don't make it a point to participate in the races.  I do enjoy them from time to time, but generally only play in them if I happen to be playing at the time.  More often then not you end up losing more than what your piece of the price turns out to be.

It's very not good for me, but you must play smarter on the race.. there are many rich peoples and play/join the race on casino. Not sense.. I would host make new max. minimum on ballance 10k satoshi btc for example but i understand about stake.com, they must earn money that why peoples do race. If you want join the race and just play.

Event race for rich, i guess.

Talking about profit can`t  be good if you are in a loss, no matter if it is only 1 satoshi loss.  Talking about being part of a community and about to get fun participating with all in same activity....well, maybe it worth.  If you are chasing your Bronze, Bold, Platinum stars by wagering then Race can be a good idea as an incentive.  It does matter only what are you looking for.  Maybe someone just goes to Race to feed its ego when all other uses says..."there, the Race Champion!"  My opinion.  Good luck.

This is not good for me. Therefore, I stopped races because I lose more than I win. It is not worth it. Maybe someone even has a profit from race, but I have no luck.

basically when the races take place that I seek is profit is not the highest place in the races. because the last few weeks the prize races are quite small not like before when the beginning of the beginning of the new emergence of races in the stake

Well if you bust 1000 XRP then the answers is not. if you are a smart enough and have 1000 XRP i think better you use your balance for playing and getting a profits rather than join the races

Well, stake races wont give you profits once you bust, but once you''ll compete to wager more than other players. It's worth for me tho while im playing normally when they are starting.

It is good as long as you are in profit or your prize in the race can cover the losses you had. It is definitely not good when your loss is more than what you got as prize. If this happens, better not join the race because that is not playing smart.

Well to bust 1000 XRP only to win 100k satoshis is of course not good at all since it is a total loss of value and profit. You will need to figure out what went wrong for you in the Races this time around and avoid the same mistakes to do better in the next Races in future.

In my opinion, it is just a technique of marketing. To get more players to play at the site for that period of time. People will think they can win and play smart, winning the leaderboard. But in most cases, people lose more then the prize. If you are more unlucky then you think, you might even not win anything after all. Let’s say you got lucky this time, you still won’t make a lot from the prizes. Anyways, it’s everyone’s opinion. Good luck to you all who participates in races!

No.. before the race I like to build up a certain amount usually. .5 bch . That can easily boost you up to the top 10 easily.. once I reach top 10 I eased up a bit and still maintaining the amount.. I wait till the last 5 mins.. before I make some crazy ass bet.. but before that I'll just be betting casual.. building the bankroll in a slow pace with low bets.. then I Sprint that last 5 mins with half of the bank roll..

Only once so far that I remember did I end the race with a profit.  I played super safe and managed a small profit and managed to finish somewhere in the 20s in the standings.  Every time I end up higher in the standings, I tend to be at a loss after the race and my prize doesn't cover the losses.  From my standpoint I have to play much more aggressively to finish higher and bet more, this usually ends in losses...

I'm glad you were able to turn a profit with this race on Stake. I think a lot of people lose money on the the races if they don't have the fund to play big. People with a large balance can just go all in 1.01x on dice and win.

if you have a big bankroll then yess its can be  profitable . i tried it if there is some additional bounties on twitter or forum from staff ..

If you got a profit then yes it's good but if not then it's not good. In your case, you lose 1000xrp and only win 100k sats then it's not good. Stake race is about wager though, so you must think a good strategy to wager with your balance. 1000xrp is a big bankroll imo, it should be more easier to wager. Also sorry for your loss.

The worst part of gambling is surely this, and then the house edge. The house edge won't make you lose as vigorously as your unsound psychology. I always try to keep my profits and losses away whilst gambling and it does sure work. You can quickly use your vault to deposit some number of your money (not exact amounts). I think its also nice to do something else while gambling like listening to music maybe. Completely agreed with komiks, you can concentrate better in some kind of sound than in silence.
